Training Need

The aim of the seminar is to guide team leaders of various disciplines to develop their skills to organize and guide their staff, according to their personality and abilities, so that they can assess the degree of the crisis and manage it with composure.
Training Objectives

Upon completion of the programme, the trainees will be able to identify and assess the magnitude of the crisis they are facing in order to lead the organisation to exit from it.

At knowledge level
  1. Draw up a proper action plan for crisis management

  2. Evaluate the knowledge and exploit the ideas of existing staff

  3. Rationally allocate the action work programme.

At skills level
  1. To develop the trainee's leadership skills in crisis management

  2. Use appropriate communication methods to keep staff alert in difficult times

  3. Make maximum use of all available resources.

At the attitudinal level
  1. Become familiar with proper personnel management procedures

  2. Recognise important elements in the management of critical situations

  3. Understand the importance of information management.

Description of candidates for participation

This applies to all middle and senior managers who head HR teams, such as General Managers, Agency Departmental Managers, Financial and Legal Advisors, Management Representatives on ISO matters, DPOs, DPOs, Heads of Task Execution Teams, HR Department Heads, and Safety and Health Officers.

Training Methods

The Programme is conducted in the form of a lecture and at the same time dialogue and discussion are encouraged. During the seminar, workshops and exercises are carried out for a better understanding of the theoretical part of the programme, examples are given and role-playing takes place. Modern audio-visual aids such as Multimedia Projector, Projection Screen, Computer, Blackboard, Markers, Graphics and Worksheets are also used for better education and training of the participants. Each trainee is also given/sent notes in electronic format on the seminar topics.

Data Retention & Evaluation System 

The electronic attendance register used by the ANAD will be maintained and the instructor will be responsible for keeping it.

At the end of the programme, the trainees will be given an evaluation form for the programme and the trainer(s), which will also show the degree of implementation of the programme

Trainer Description
Rodoula Philippou

Mrs.Rodoula Filippou holds a Bachelor of Political Science & Public Administration from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and also a second Bachelor of Law in General Law from the University of Nicosia.  He is engaged in the field of Consultancy Services in General Health and Safety Issues as well as other Legal Issues of Labour Law and Personal Data Protection.  He has over 1600 hours of staff training in similar programs.
