Training Need

There is a need to inform, train and educate the executives in order to communicate and successfully transfer the policy and vision of the Management to the staff as well as to manage in an organized way the challenges of competition and to achieve an increase in sales and enhance productivity.
Training Objectives
 

At the end of the programme it is expected that participants will be able to take over and manage, plan, organise, lead and have control of the store's resources and human resources in such a way as to achieve the objectives in the most efficient and effective way possible.

  1. correctly describe a problem they have identified

  2. correctly formulate a report to the management - decision centre

  3. identify the general and specific characteristics of the competitive challenges they face

  4. relate the candidate's qualifications to the job and classify them on a correct assessment basis, so as to place the candidate on a scale of relevant selection for a specific position based on the objectives set by management.

At skills level
  1. carry out the instructions of the Directorate in relation to the recruitment process

  2. explain to the team of employees what they expect as a result of the organisation process

  3. develop their own techniques based on their observations

  4. select and collect information by various methods that will help management to make the right decisions

  5. justify, on the basis of the information in their possession, their proposals for improving services

  6. organise a proper system of evaluation of employees in order to obtain the best positive feedback to be productive in a pleasant working environment.

At the attitudinal level
  1. justify their decisions

  2. encourage staff to present themselves as well as possible to facilitate their evaluation and productivity process

  3. cooperate with the other departments involved in the organisation and development process of the Company.

Description of candidates for participation

The programme is addressed to Store Managers, Store Department Managers and Store Team Managers.

Training Methods

The Programme is conducted in the form of a lecture and at the same time dialogue and discussion are encouraged. During the seminar, workshops and exercises are carried out for a better understanding of the theoretical part of the programme, examples are given and role-playing takes place. Modern audio-visual aids such as Multimedia Projector, Projection Screen, Computer, Paper Board, Markers, Graphics and Worksheets are also used for better education and training of the participants.

Each trainee is also given/sent notes in electronic or hard copy for the seminar topics.

Data Retention & Evaluation System 
 

The Electronic Attendance Register of the ANAD will be kept, where the instructor will be responsible for its maintenance.

At the end of the programme, the trainees will be given an evaluation form of the programme and the trainer(s), showing the degree of implementation of the programme and the needs met.

Trainer Description
Rodoula Philippou

Mrs.Rodoula Filippou holds a Bachelor of Political Science & Public Administration from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and also a second Bachelor of Law in General Law from the University of Nicosia.  He is engaged in the field of Consultancy Services in General Health and Safety Issues as well as other Legal Issues of Labour Law and Personal Data Protection.  He has over 1600 hours of staff training in similar programs.
